Children and Medicine

Dedicated to the health and well-being of children around the globe!

About January 19, 2011

Welcome to our blog!  We are freshmen (whoo Class of 2014!) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  This blog is part of our project for English 102, which was to create a website discussing the history of children and medicine.  Jaiquan is looking into youth fitness and finding ways to make sure the terrifying obesity trend doesn’t continue to grow.  Prianca is researching the treatment of pediatric cancer, while Miranda is focusing on the specialization of adolescent medicine.  Kathleen is  decoding the many diseases we all had as a child but maybe never knew much about.  And finally, Anna is writing about orthopedic deformities in children.  That’s alot of info, don’t you think? So hopefully you’ll find something helpful here in your quest to better understand the history of children and medicine!
